Yehuda Handelsman, MD, FACP, FACE, FNLA is an endocrinologist in private practice and Medical Director & Principal Investigator of the Metabolic Institute of America. He is a nationally and internationally recognized authority on Diabetes, Lipids, Obesity, HTN their  and the prevention of cardiovascular disease. He is Past President of the American College of Endocrinology and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists; Chair of AACE DM & Lipid scientific committees, member of the AACE Obesity Scientific Committee; Member Board of Directors, American Association for Preventive Cardiology & President Elect the pacific Lipid Association, Chair of the World Congress on Insulin Resistance, Diabetes & Cardiovascular Disease, Chair & Program director, The Heart in Diabetes initiative and Medical Congress and Chair of the International Lipid Forum. He published near 100 peer-reviewed original research & review papers and editorials. His Book “Clinical Management of Cardiovascular Risk in Diabetes and Obesity,” was published 2016.
