The BD AutoShield Duo Pen Needle automatically protects patients from both ends of a pen needle which become contaminated after use. This prevents used needle exposure for anyone who may come into contact after the pen needle is removed from the pen. The small 5mm size allows for a safer, no "pinch up," single-handed injection technique with patients of BMI’s (20-49). It has been rigorously tested for fit, function and dose accuracy with all pens on the market.
