New First in Class Type 2 Diabetes Drug Cycloset Available November 2010. VeroScience announced that they have entered into a distribution and license agreement granting Santarus exclusive rights to manufacture and commercialize Cycloset®, which has been approved by the FDA as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with Type 2 diabetes both as mono-therapy and in combination with other oral antidiabetic agents.
