Recently, the website Welcome to Type 1 posted an entertaining and thought-provoking three-minute video to answer the question, “How could getting type 1 make you stronger?” The creators, Dr. Jonathan White and Oliver Brown, take a positive spin on type 1 by emphasizing the valuable life lessons diabetes management can teach us. The site has some great video profiles of people with type 1 diabetes, all intended to give a proactive, inspiring outlook on diabetes. A full-length documentary is also in the works and will be distributed at hospitals, clinics, and by sponsors around the world.
