Dr. A. Paul Chous, MA, OD, FAAO, is an optometrist in Tacoma, WA and a member of the Diabetes in Control Board of Advisors. A person with type 1 diabetes himself, Dr. Chous puts a special emphasis on diabetic eye disease and diabetes education. He is the author of the award-winning book Diabetic Eye Disease: Lessons From a Diabetic Eye Doctor.
