FDA Approves Continuous Glucose Monitor for Children  The FDA has expanded the approval of the Dexcom G4 Platinum continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) system to include use for children aged 2 to 17 years of age despite reduced accuracy compared with adults. 

Tandem Initiates Voluntary Recall for Specific Lots of Pump Cartridges  All lots of the cholesterol drug marketed as Liptruzet (ezetimibe and atorvastatin) across four doses are being recalled, the manufacturer, Merck, announced. The recall affects tablets in the 10/10-mg, 10/20-mg, 10/40-mg, and 10/80-mg dosages.
