GLUCOBOY MOVES CLOSER TO REALITY

GLUCOBOY® is a glucose meter that can be inserted into a Nintendo GAMEBOY®. The product operates independent of the video game system but downloads video game programs that are contained within its circuitry into the GAMEBOY as a reward for maintaining good blood sugar control. With the patient being responsible for so much of proper diabetes management the GLUCOBOY® carries an essential dual role, providing accurate medical diagnosis for the disease as well as an incentive delivery platform which serves as a key portal for obtaining patient-critical medical data; the foundation for fully automated, individualized, disease management program.

What Parents say:

Dear Paul,
I would like to thank you for giving my son Blake Henderson the opportunity to try the GLUCOBOY. We just loved it. It's the best thing that has been invented for kids who have to live with Juvenile Diabetes.

Blake was diagnosed two years ago when he was 11 years old and it has been a very difficult change in his life. It is so great to know that there are people out there like you thinking about these kids and ways of making their disease a little easier.

The GLUCOBOY is a great way to get the kids to test their blood sugar more often and to stick to their goals. Blake was so happy about this invention. It's the only thing that has made him smile about this disease. Before Blake was using the GLUCOBOY his A1c was 8.4 when we went to his Doctor's visit while he had the GLUCOBOY, his A1c had dropped to 7.1.

Blake's doctor was very proud of him as well as us and on top of that Blake felt so good about himself. Everyone that we showed the GLUCOBOY to thought it was really cool. This is what these kids have been waiting for, something cool rather than something corny that they can feel ok in front of their friends to use. As a parent it has broke my heart to see my son have to live with this disease when I heard about the test pilot I really wanted to get Blake involved in it because it would help him be a part of something that will make it better for kids to have something to make diabetes easier for them.

To be honest with you I was not expecting to meet you personally. What I was most impressed with was you and your passion for the kids who have juvenile diabetes. You know exactly what all of us are going through because you yourself also have a child with diabetes. And one thing that you said was how your son always knew where his Game boy was but he always seemed to misplace his Glucometer. Well, you came up with a great idea. I really appreciate this opportunity to allow my son to do this. It was an honor to meet you and I look forward to your success and to the success of all the children who suffer from juvenile diabetes. I also look forward to new ideas that you have. You are a wonderful person and we will be forever grateful for the GLUCOBOY.

Sincerely,
Trisha Henderson
