Every day brings a record amount of newly diagnosed cases of COVID-19 and a corresponding surge in hospitalizations. This is of particular concern to our patients with diabetes, as the chances of hospitalization are increased. There have been many “quick fixes” pushed out to people without a lot of science, and many patients have had to reduce their diabetes care because of costs.
