Sometimes things will happen for no apparent reason, and then suddenly there is justification for a decision made. We were at Sam’s Club yesterday and for some reason I picked up a bottle of Vitamin D from the nutritional aisle. Maybe it was because it had been raining all day and I felt a lack of sunlight, I am not really sure why. When I tossed it in the cart my partner looked at me like I was crazy, and she questioned my decision.
My answer was simple: we needed to take Vitamin D. Today we looked at her lab values for her endo appointment–she has type 1 diabetes–and unbelievably she had low Vitamin D levels.
