An innovative new shoe could significantly reduce the number of diabetic foot amputations from inadequate blood flow by replicating the pumping mechanism of the body’s circulatory system. Pulseboot, which was developed in the U.K., is drawing interest in a number of other countries, including the U.S. The design, created five years ago, will start clinical trials this month.
