This week we focus on the relationship of diabetes and hypertension. Our main feature looks at the value of aggressive treatment of hypertension in both type 1 and type 2 diabetes, and why tight control is beneficial. Our item 3 looks how metformin, in addition to the use of an SGLT-2 inhibitor, can very much benefit those same patients.
