When Steve and I started this newsletter we would call up our local meter or insulin rep and ask for some money for the website. Sometimes we would meet someone from a major company at ADA or AACE and they would give some funding for a feature on their product, or we might even get lucky and do a feedback study for a device manufacturer. As the internet got more sophisticated and tracking took place, hits, click-throughs and time on the site helped support us. While income was harder to come by the costs got higher, so we are introducing a new service called “LaterPay” that gives you an opportunity to help support our website by receiving added content on a featured article each week for only 39 cents.
