Torré Anderson, II, PharmD candidate from FAMU College of Pharmacy, was reviewing information from the recent ADA Scientific Sessions and found something that caught his eye. He, like most of us, had always assumed that type 2 diabetes was a disease of older folks. He had heard that, even if the patient was unlucky enough to have a genetic history of diabetes in the family, if they got diabetes it would be much later in life
