Let your patients know that their Part D Medicare Plan is going to change Jan 1, 2011. The part D plan they are on for 2010 will be changing and they need to go to a pharmacy if they do not have access to a computer and request that their pharmacist provide them with the best Part D plans that will work for their specific medications. If they have access to a computer they can go to Medicare Plan Finder, and with the list of their medications, find the best Part D Plan that works for them with the lowest cost. Unless they do this, their old plan is going to change, will probably cost them more money and may not cover the drugs that they are using.
