Many of our patients will select a plan to manage their weight and it works, then after time it seems to reverse and all the weight your patient lost seems to magically come back. If they are using food choices the first thing we do is tell them they are likely cheating and to stop eating the wrong things. If your patient tells you that they haven’t changed or added any “bad” foods, we often doubt their truthfulness. This can happen to the best patients, and it becomes a frustrating time for both you and the patient.

This week, Dr. Sheri Colberg shares her own experience with gaining weight without doing anything different. Learn how she figured out what was wrong and how she fixed it.
