The recent ADA Scientific Sessions have been chock full of great information. It appears as if the Pandemic had no effect on research of devices and medications.

There was a lot of focus on the SGLT-2 Inhibitors and the multiple positive effects for diabetes patients. This week our intern, Alan Martinez from USF College of Pharmacy, looked at the research on the use of these medications to prevent the metabolic complications of the coronavirus.
