If you have ever attended a seminar, CE program or an advanced diabetes training you have to be familiar with one of the most famous diabetes slides. This slide by Drs. Kendall and Bergenstal from the International Diabetes Center is the quintessential slide on the history and development of type 2 diabetes. This slide proves the value of post-prandial glucose testing in the identification of diabetes and sums up the progression of Beta Cell Failure and Insulin Resistance.
The question has been, what are the mechanisms involved in this dysfunction, and can we prevent the development of diabetes?
LECOM School of Pharmacy PharmD. Candidate, Onyi Ibeji, has a very interesting article on these mechanisms and how to reduce their effect.

I asked her to read the label to me. She had to spell it out.
