Diabetes May Cause Early Menopause

Female type 2 diabetes patients younger than 45 years were more than three times as likely to experience early menopause than their healthier peers, a study indicated. Researchers also found the mean age of menopause in women with diabetes was 48.5 years, compared with 50.1 years in those without diabetes.
