Recent studies used electronic media including an internet program, computer game and a video game, to examine behavior changes such as an increase in fruit or vegetable consumption, increase in physical activity, and improved disease states. An increase in physical activity, weight loss, a decrease in systolic blood pressure, and a decrease in obesity were among the results. Video games may be particularly effective since they are used across all economic groups and racial/ethnic groups. JAMA Pediatrics, April 8, 2013
