Henry Anhalt, DO (left), is a pediatric endocrinologist in Hackensack, NJ who was most recently the Chief Medical Officer of the T1D Exchange, a nonprofit organization that has created a new paradigm fostering collaboration among patients, physicians, researchers and industry to speed discovery of better therapies for type 1 diabetes. Howard Steinberg went from brand management at the Pepsi Cola Co to applying his personal understanding of diabetes - he has lived with type 1 diabetes since age 10 - to create the multimedia DTC platform dLife, which he founded in 2005.
