Has an A1c of 8.5% and Total Cholesterol of 260, LDL 158, HDL of 35 and Triglycerides of 200.

 

What would the first choice be?

  1. Keeping her medications the same?

  2. Increase Zocor to 40mg

  3. Add a bile acid sequestrant

  4. Increase Zocar to 40mg and add Zetia

  5. Add Niacin
