Last week I was working on a project, and it seemed like I was spending my whole day looking at spreadsheets and pivot tables. As the day went by I kept making the numbers larger to make it easier to read, and finally I had to give up for a few hours because it was hard to focus. I am sure all of us, especially when we get older, have this problem from time to time; however, we can turn away from the screen to rest our eyes. The question is, what do you do if you have to draw up an insulin dose and you have vision problems?
This week our good friend and fellow CDE, Ann Williams, shares her experience with a patient who could read the syringes but had a totally different problem. Click here to find out what the problem was.
