When you have female patients who have type 2 diabetes, obesity, a history of irregular periods and/or the other symptoms of PCOS, ask them about their daughters. Do they have like symptoms of PCOS, as Dr. Cobin discusses in her videos?
If they do have some of the symptoms, recommend they think about having their daughter(s) be evaluated. An expert in the field can best assess them and hopefully prevent some of the complications associated with PCOS while improving their quality of life.
Learn more by watching and listening to Dr. Cobin’s interview.
