NW Limb Preservation Conference
We are pleased to invite you to participate in the NW Limb Preservation
Conference, which will be held at the Meydenbauer
Center in Bellevue, WA. This meeting will begin on Monday, 15 March
2004 and adjourn on Wednesday, 17 March 2004.

Summary
Description
This three day interdisciplinary course is designed to enhance and update
clinicians on topics related to the care of the diabetic patient. The
scope of the conference will include general management of diabetes
with emphasis on the care of the medical and surgical management of
the diabetic foot. Prevention and treatment of diabetic foot ulcers
and prevention of amputations utilizing an interdisciplinary team will
be discussed. This course is designed for all clinicians dedicated to
caring for the diabetic patient and solving clinical issues as they
relate to limb preservation.

This
CME activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the
Essential Area and Polices of the Accreditation Council for Continuing
Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of the MEDCOM
and The Geneva Foundation. The MEDCOM is accredited by the ACCME to
provide CME for physicians and by the Washington State Nurses Association
for nurses. The MEDCOM takes responsibility for the content, quality,
and scientific integrity of this CME activity.
In
addition, 22.2 nursing CEU credits will be available (subject to change).
