More Evidence Showing Health Benefits of Chocolate

A study that followed almost 21,000 adults for an average of 12 years found those who ate the most chocolate had lower heart attack, stroke and diabetes rates, along with lower BMI, blood pressure and inflammation, when compared with people who consumed the least chocolate. Researchers, who reported the findings in the BMJ journal Heart, also analyzed past studies and found chocolate eaters were less likely to have or die from a range of cardiovascular problems, compared with those who did not eat chocolate. — BMJ journal Heart
