Lisa Letourneau, MPH, RD, LDN, is a diabetes researcher, dietitian, and public health professional. As Diabetes and Genetics Clinical Research Manager at the University of Chicago, her work focuses on managing multiple studies related to atypical diabetes, including the largest monogenic diabetes registry in the United States. She is passionate about diabetes classification and personalized treatment plans, as well as making information on monogenic diabetes accessible to both patients and healthcare providers. Ms. Letourneau is a Registered Dietitian with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from the University of Michigan and a Master of Public Health degree in Nutrition from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. She has been working in diabetes research for over five years.
