Letter from the Editor, #749

Oct 1, 2014

This week we find that a lot of information is coming out the EASD meeting in Vienna, and much of it has to do with the use of pump therapy in patient care. There is also a great article that dispels any concerns you may have about starting your patients on SGLT-2 drugs. In addition, the availability of our new section on diabetes medications means that you and your patients can have everything about their medications at your fingertips.

With a day packed full of education, motivational tools, one-on-one sessions, and workshops, the TCOYD health fair is a great way to get your patients to take better care of their health and themselves.
From "One amazing type 1 woman shares her journey around the globe to conquer television’s Amazing Race. Also, one man’s journey to better control with insulin, and Jim Turner asks what you hate about diabetes. Special Guests: Dr. Nat Strand." Sundays live online at at 7 PM ET, 6 PM CT, and 4 PM PT. Keep up on the latest dLife news at
