Often times our patients get so much information that they get frustrated and just give up. This means all our efforts go to waste and both the patient and practitioner are unhappy. Our health and wellness guru Dr. Sheri Colberg has been working with patients for the last 20 years and this week she has prepared, "Musings about Health from an Expert on…Something." We have all heard the phrase "misery loves company" and that is evident in a group session when patients actually compete to tell you how they "hurt" more than anyone else, However, sometimes putting people together can be positive. This week, we have an item from the International Journal of Behavioral Medicine about the value of peer programs for patients with diabetes.
