Less Exercise Means an Increase in Death Risk for Diabetes Patients

Type 2 diabetes patients who were less active had a 70% to 110% increased odds of coronary and cardiovascular disease and mortality compared with those who exercised at least three times a week. Researchers also found low-activity patients were 25% more likely than their more active counterparts to suffer coronary and cardiovascular events. Eur J Prev Cardiol.
