daveOver the years, there has been a lot of publicity and press on the benefits of chromium. It has been touted for weight loss, curing diabetes, lowering cholesterol, and improving testosterone levels. It seems that every few years a new “formula” appears that guarantees results, and many patients have had improvements using chromium. Now we have some concrete evidence that chromium, along with manganese, do make a difference for our diabetes patients and that these patients are more likely to have a deficiency. Our Doctor of Pharmacy candidate from LECOM College of Pharmacy, Nuha Awad, put the information together in our item # 4.
