Marian Ayad, our current PharmD candidate from University of Colorado, was questioning whether waiting till a patient was in their 30’s or 40’s was the best for performing gastric bypass. When she did her research she found out that the sooner the bypass is done, the better the outcomes, especially with regards to hypertension and diabetes. Now, the question is how young is too young?
