Janis Roszler, MSFT, RD, CDE, LD/N is the American Association of Diabetes Educators’ 2008-2009 Diabetes Educator of the Year. She is also a Registered Dietitian and Marriage and Family therapist. She is a contributor to numerous publications including Walgreen’s Diabetes & You, Diabetes New World (Beijing, China) and Diabetes Positive Living (Dubai, UAE). She has hosted Janis’ Jump Start to Good Health, a weekly talk show on WWNN Radio, the dLife podcast series and dTalk Radio on dLife.com. Her books include Sex and Diabetes (ADA), which was nominated for Consumer Book of the Year by the Society for Sex Therapy and Research, Diabetes on your OWN Terms (Marlowe & Co) and The Secrets of Living and Loving with Diabetes (Surrey books). Janis was also executive producer of Sex, Intimacy and Diabetes, an award-winning DVD that she created with dLifeTV. She travels internationally as a speaker on diabetes and other health-related topics.
Janis is married and is the mother of four terrific kids. She resides in South Florida.
