3, 2003 -- Novo Nordisk announced today that NovoLog(R) (insulin
aspart, (rDNA origin) injection), the company's rapid-acting insulin analog,
is now available nationwide in the new NovoLog(R) FlexPen(R) prefilled
syringe for the treatment of diabetes.

Cracks in Accu-Chek Strip Vials
Users
of Accu-Chek Comfort Curve and Accu-Chek Advantage test strips are being
asked by Roche Diagnostics to check the bottom of the test strip vials for
cracks. The cracks could moisture to enter the vial, which can cause
inaccurate test results on the strips in the vial. The number of vials with
cracks being reported is very small, but all Accu-Chek users should check
their vials.
