It seems like every pump patient I’ve ever worked with in the last ten years was calling me this past week about the recent recall of Medtronic’s Quick Set Devices with lot numbers beginning with #8. Many of them had heard outrageous stories about the recall. With this in mind I called Steve Sabicer, Director of Communications for Medtronic Diabetes and asked him to provide us with what the real story was.
