Eating Carbs Last Lowers BG Levels after a Meal

Eating protein, vegetables, and fat before carbohydrates is now being linked to lower blood sugar and insulin levels after the meal. A new study showed that after eating carbohydrates last, participants’ blood sugar levels were about 29% lower after 30 minutes, 37% lower after 60 minutes, and 17% lower after two hours.
