Check out this weeks’ recipe of:

 Broiled Steak Salad with 2.1gm CHO and 4 oz. Pro per serving

 

4 oz lean steak                                                                                       24gm PRO

2 Tbsp oil

1 Tbsp vinegar

1 Tbsp chopped onion                                    0.9 gm CHO                    0.3gm PRO

1 clove garlic, minced                                     1.0 gm CHO                  0.2 gm PRO

 

Grill or broil steak to desired doneness.  Cool and cut into 1/4 – inch strips.  Combine remaining ingredients thoroughly in a bowl, then add steak and mix.  Correct the seasoning.

Additional vegetables (up to 2/3 cup) or salad greens (up to 1 cup) may be chopped and added to taste.  Be sure you add their CHO content to your computations.
