Some Younger, Middle-aged Adults with Diabetes Lack Health Coverage

Data on 2,704 adults with diabetes showed about 100% of those age 65 and older had health insurance, compared with only 85% of those 18 to 64 years old. About two million diabetes patients under the age of 65 had no health insurance coverage. Health insurance costs were the main reason why those age 64 and younger had no coverage.
