Treatment_Algorithm International Diabetes Center at Park Nicollet has created a treatment algorithm to assist health professionals treating Type 2 diabetes. The algorithms, based on clinical research and expert opinion, diagram treatment options, timelines and recommended steps. Each takes into account the patient's targets and medication use. (Note: Algorithms are for use by health professionals. Patients should discuss treatment plans with their doctors.)
