Dr. Claude Lardinois talks with Diabetes in Control Associate Medical Editor Joy Pape at the 2016 AACE Meeting. In part 1 of this Exclusive Interview, Dr. Lardinois accepts his win as a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology.

Dr. Claude Lardinois, M.D., FACP, FACE, MACN, has been an endocrinologist in Reno, Nevada for more than 20 years. He is a professor of medicine at the University of Nevada School of Medicine and a member of the graduate faculty for Nevada Studies in Nutrition at the University of Nevada. His research interests include work in nutrition, diabetes, hypertension, and dyslipidemia. Dr. Lardinois has a notable interest in eradicating heart disease, the major cause of death in the United States.
