Re: MEDICARE’S THERAPEUTIC SHOE PROGRAM FOR DIABETICS
How many of your patients are Diabetic and on Medicare? Are they aware of Medicare’s Therapeutic Shoe Bill for Diabetics? Medicare covers diabetic patients for one pair of extra depth shoes and three pairs of multi-density inserts per year. This protective footwear helps prevent diabetic foot complications and attempts to reduce amputations caused by complications.
FOOT SOLUTONS is an approved supplier under the Medicare Diabetic Therapeutic Shoe Program and accepts assignment for qualifying Medicare Part B participants. Enclosed is information that summarizes the Medicare Diabetic Therapeutic Shoe Program as well as forms that are required to be completed prior to participating in the program including a Statement of Certifying Physician form and a Prescription form.
FOOT SOLUTIONS also carries a broad range of shoes, socks and footcare items for a variety of conditions including diabetes, arthritis, plantar fasciitis, metatarsalgia, fibromyalgia, etc. All of our shoes are extra-depth to accommodate various forefoot conditions, such as hammertoes and bunions, and we can modify any shoe to address a specific need. All of our staff are trained pedorthists.

And feel free to drop in anytime for a store tour or call with any questions concerning your patients’ care. Store hours are {10am-6pm Monday through Friday and 10am-4pm on Saturday}. Evening hours are available by appointment.
