MOST FIT EDUCATOR

Winner of the Recumbent Bike & First Place Trophy

Christine Steinhauser, Diabetes Educator from Kearney, NE is the most fit educator and winner of the Recombent Bike. She bested over 70 of her collegues to take the top prize with 112 calories. She competes in bicycle races and has selected the recumbent bike also.

2^nd Place Trophy:

Jody Gosgain a Diabetes Educator from Wheaton IL came in second with 84.5 calories. Judy brought her boss to our booth to "prove" she actually won.

3^rd Place Trophy:

Mary Ellen Wolf , an Educator from Reston VA, came in third with 82.7 calories

MOST FIT REP

Winner of the Recombent Bike 

1^st Place Trophy: Rick Philbin, M.Ed, A.T.C., C.S.C.S.,  Regional Manager of Animas reigns as the most fit manufactures rep at the AADE conference. Rick out pedaled over 50 of his fellow reps and set a record of 137 calories burned in 5minutes.

Rick resides in Falls Church, VA and is a type one diabetes patient, insulin pump wearer and is very active in DESA (Diabetes, Exercise, and Sports Association).
